🛒 Sales Orders in CushionsERP

The Sales Order is part of the Commerce module in CushionsERP. It helps you manage incoming product or service orders from your customers before generating invoices or delivery documents.

📦 What is a Sales Order?

A Sales Order (SO) is a formal document confirming that a customer has requested specific products or services. It is typically created after a quotation is accepted but before shipping or invoicing.

Sales Orders help you:

Track customer demand
Plan inventory or production
Coordinate deliveries and billing
Record agreed terms (prices, discounts, delivery dates)

🧭 Where to Find It

You can access Sales Orders under:

''Commerce → Orders → Customer Orders''

Here, you can:

View the list of orders
Create new Sales Orders
Filter by customer, status, or date

🛠️ Creating a Sales Order

To create a new Sales Order:

Go to: Commerce → Orders → New Customer Order
Select a customer
Add lines for products or services
Define quantities, prices, and taxes
Save the document

Once saved, you can:

Validate the order
Convert it into a delivery or invoice
Export or email it as a PDF

📌 Notes

A Sales Order does not affect stock until it's converted into a delivery.
It can be used for both products and services.
